Brabus 700 4x4² Final Edition: the ultimate farewell to the previous generation of the G-Class

Anonim

Mercedes-Benz has already made known the new G-Class, however, Brabus did not want to overhaul the previous generation without a version that would do it justice. That's why it created the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition , based on the previous generation of the Mercedes-AMG G63.

As it should be when we talk about a Brabus model, power is something that is not lacking. Thus, the 5.5 V8 twin-turbo received larger turbos, an exhaust with less restrictions and other improvements, all to charge 700 hp (515 kW) and 960 Nm of torque.

In terms of performance, the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition is capable of running from 0 to 100 km/h in 5s, reaching a maximum speed of 210 km/h — fortunately, limited… It's true that the time from 0 to 100 km/h is higher than what the new Mercedes-AMG G63 does, however, the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition has a ground clearance of 60 cm — more than twice as much as the new G63 (!) — making it really capable off-road.

(very) limited production

As if to prove that the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition has real off-road skills, Brabus equipped it with off-road tires (Pirelli Scorpion ATR) and crankcase and tank protections. The mega-distance to the ground is achieved through the use of gantry axles and the suspension in the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition is electronically adjustable.

Four driving modes are also available: Comfort, Sport, Off-road and Individual. As the name implies, the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition should be the last model to be created based on the previous generation Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

In all, only 10 units will be produced and the price (in Germany) starts at 209 thousand euros.
