The analysis of the behavior data measured from the DBS scale – Driven Behavior Scale – allows us to conclude that 27% of surveyed drivers show aggressive and hostile behavior in stressful situations at the wheel. A practice that is more frequent than you might think: only 34.8% of respondents say they never show signs of irritation towards other motorists.

Most respondents claim to have sweared at other drivers , with 14% doing it frequently and very frequently. Yelling at other drivers often happens to 35% of motorists.

The study also allowed the conclusion that more than 26% of respondents make “gestures” to drivers that make them uncomfortable ; only 31.8% of respondents never honked the horn, and 30% do so frequently.

The data collected also allow us to infer that the drivers who are most concerned about maintaining a healthy lifestyle are those who show the least tendency to be aggressive behind the wheel. Conversely, drivers who perceive that they have more stress in their professional activity are those who show a more aggressive behavior at the wheel.
