The health status of former F1 driver Michael Schumacher remains critical. In a statement issued at 10 am, Grenoble hospital doctors said they could not comment on the future.
Michael Schumacher suffered severe and diffuse brain injuries as a result of severe head trauma and has an "undefined prognosis". The ex-pilot continues to fight for his life after a ski accident at the Méribel ski resort in the French Alps on 29 December.
Michael Schumacher was transported to hospital in Moûtiers 10 minutes after the accident, where, given the seriousness of the injuries, the decision was taken to transfer him to hospital in Grenoble. In a statement, the hospital in Grenoble said that Michael Schumacher arrived in a coma and in critical condition. After carrying out tests that confirmed "very serious injuries", Michael Schumacher underwent a neurosurgical operation.
