Ford is determined to surprise the market with the unveiling of a documentary series that portrays the evolution of the new Ford Focus RS.
The idea had the help of all the company's teams around the world and the series entitled “Rebirth of an Icon” will patent the backstage of the conception of the 345 hp all-wheel-drive crossbow that Ford is about to commercialize.The release of the documentary is scheduled for September 30th and will be divided into eight weekly episodes. The main character is the Ford Focus RS and will have themes such as: idealization and development, tests in extreme weather conditions and even a genre of “Digital Opinion Column” where the American rally driver, Ken Block, will give tips on how to do it the most exciting Ford Focus RS ever.

Ford Vice President Raj Nair could not contain his words and added, “The Focus RS is a vehicle with unique performance and an incredible heritage. This creates a huge expectation and intense pressure that requires a lot of teamwork, a great determination and a single purpose in getting to the main focus”. He added that "This documentary will have direct access to all areas and perfectly captures what is sometimes a bumpy trip."
For the most anxious customers, Ford has announced that the first European deliveries of the new Ford Focus RS are scheduled for the beginning of 2016. The price in Portugal for the only version on sale will be €47,436 (not including transport and legalization costs ).
