Nissan unveiled the IMx concept at the opening of the Tokyo Motor Show. Regardless of whether you like the exterior styling or not, the zero-emissions concept is sure to look bold and eye-catching. The “suicide” style doors and the V-shaped front give it dynamism and movement. Floating mudguards give it a unique appearance with the roof extending the entire length.
The interior is typical of a concept, futuristic and simplistic without physical controls. You can see an OLED screen that will serve as an instrument panel. The wooden console trim that extends through the doors creates the ambience. The frame of the seats, with a laser engraved pattern, was made using a 3D printer.
This electric SUV is equipped with two engines that generate a combined power of 430 hp and 700 Nm of torque . Using Nissan's latest platform for EV vehicles, the Nissan IMx Concept has a completely flat floor, giving massive interior space, and a low center of gravity that will help you agility.
As for batteries, the IMX will be able to run 600 km with just one charge , but the type of batteries used was not disclosed. The Nissan IMx will also be equipped with an advanced autonomous driving system, which when in ProPilot mode hides the steering wheel while the seats recline for greater comfort. It's the new times…
