The "old man" Honda Civic has just broken another world record

More than 20 years later, the Honda Civic insists on not putting the papers for the reform.

It's been an impressive month as far as drag racing is concerned. After Ekanoo Racing's Nissan GT-R with more than 2000 hp set a new record for the Japanese model, it was time for a Honda Civic with the original chassis (which had already covered more than 300,000 km) and a 2.0 Turbo engine establish a new world mark in a 1/4 mile in the 'front wheel drive' category, covering this mythical distance in just 7.61 seconds and reaching 320.95 km/h.

Tacoma, an American preparer, was responsible for this demonic project. Thanks to the use of a turbo with dimensions capable of making an airplane turbine's envy (or almost...) and to a dedicated and meticulous work in the preparation of all the internal parts, built under the most rigorous quality parameters, this preparer was able to extract 1870 hp of power from a 2.0 liter engine.
