That's how the Bugatti Chiron needle goes up

By this time, practically everyone has seen the Bugatti Chiron on Portuguese roads. What we hadn't seen yet was the speed at which the pointer of this 1,500 hp hypercar goes up.

In recent weeks, a few dozen customers, VIPs and international journalists have been driving the new Bugatti Chiron along Portuguese roads.

Meanwhile, new Top Gear presenter Chris Harris – somewhere else on the planet – took the opportunity to stretch the 1500 hp W16 quad-turbo engine on a closed circuit.

According to Instagram channel Onlychirons, these images were captured while filming an episode of Top Gear:

The speed at which the needle rises up to 250 km/h is simply devastating. This confirms the veracity of the numbers put forward by the brand: less 6.5 seconds from 0-200km/h and 13.6 seconds from 0-300 km/h. Top speed is limited to 437 km/h.

And it seems, more than half of the production has also been sold (250 orders) at the same speed. The problem is that the factory's production capacity does not keep up with these numbers - see here.
