There are two types of drivers in the world: those who wait patiently during a traffic jam and then there are the others, those drivers who honk whenever they are in a traffic jam.
Now, to discourage this behavior, the city of Mumbai, India, has developed a system to punish these “Michael Schumacher of traffic lights” who spend their day playing the “honk symphony”.
Still in the testing phase, the system uses a decibel meter and if it detects excessive noise, it simply prevents the traffic light from turning green.

Although, at the outset, it may seem that this system could have an opposite effect than desired, causing drivers to whistle even more as they stand longer, the truth is that according to Indian authorities, the results of the first tests seem to promising. And you, do you think we should adopt an identical system in Portugal?
Horn not okay, please!
