Government suspended face-to-face trade in motor vehicles

Anonim

The Government suspended face-to-face trade in bicycles, motor vehicles, motorcycles, tractors and agricultural machinery. This measure is effective as long as the current state of emergency remains.

Although it has suspended the retail sale of this type of vehicles, the Government does not intend to suspend the activity of repair or maintenance establishments, as well as the sale of parts and accessories and towing services.

The purpose of this exception is thus to ensure the proper functioning of the fleets that guarantee the distribution of essential goods and services.

Although face-to-face commerce in vehicles has been suspended, several brands have launched and reinforced their commitment to online sales services that allow customers to buy and receive vehicles without leaving their home.

The Government also says that the solutions relating to the trade of cars and other vehicles already issued in Dispatch “may be revised if there is a change in the conditions that determined the respective forecast”.
