Tesla rocks sports saloons in 400 meters

Starts between supercars and 100% electric models are nothing new and, in general, involve one of Tesla's models, namely the Model S P100D. This time the top of the range from the Elon Musk brand challenges the most powerful German saloons in the 400 meters.

The Mercedes-AMG E63S, which we have already tested at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, has a bi-turbo engine with 603 hp 612 hp (offtopic: thanks for the correction!), and here it is presented in the Estate version. The Audi RS6, in its Performance version, has 605 hp extracted from a 4.0 V8 block with 750 Nm of torque. BMW could not miss the duel, but instead of the M5 saloon, it “brought” an M760 Li, which carries a bi-turbo V12 engine with 600 hp. In common these three Germans have all-wheel drive, power above the 600 hp bar, and an insane ease in gaining speed, especially when they have an image to maintain.

If at start up to 400 meters the Tesla Model S P100D had already crushed the powerful German models with combustion engines, a second part of the video shows a start at 50 km/h, where once again the Tesla “disappeared” from the rest.
