The 10th generation Honda Civic arrives with renewed credentials and an even sportier spirit.

The saloon and coupe variants were unveiled at the end of last year, and as there are no two without three, Honda will be showing the prototype of the 5-door hatchback version for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show. The new Civic will be produced in Swindon, England, with an investment of around 250 million euros.

NOT TO BE MISSED: This is where the cult of the Honda Civic was born

The brand's latest teaser shows that the 10th generation Honda Civic will adopt the C-shaped LED lights that have been used in recent models, as well as larger air vents and a central exhaust pipe. Like the coupé version, Honda will invest in aerodynamics and a sportier overall appearance.

As for the engines, the same 2.0l atmospheric block of 160 hp and 1.5l turbo of 176 hp is expected from the two-door version. The Honda Civic is scheduled to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, but should only reach European dealers in 2017.
