Ferrari 488 GTB xXx Performance: 1000 horsepower

Anonim

The Ferrari 488 GTB saw its power boost to 1000hp with the help of xXx Performance.

After several changes made to Lamborghini models, among others, it was time for the Ferrari 488 GTB.

Aftermaket specialist xXx Performance was one of the first to get their hands on the Ferrari 488 GTB, which comes equipped with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 670 hp. As xXx Performance found that the ability to develop 670hp and 760Nm of torque was insufficient for a sports car of this “scale”, it increased the power to 750hp and 830Nm, available in the base power kit.

In the second kit, the Ferrari 488 GTB gets an upgrade to 850hp and 930Nm of torque. But as there are no two without three, in the third and final kit, the Ferrari has the possibility of burning the asphalt with around 1000hp and 1250Nm of torque, making it even more powerful than the Ferrari FXX K. All this power is achieved with ECU changes, leaks, etc.

As the eyes also eat, the Ferrari 488 GTB features a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, mirrors and exhaust pipes made entirely from carbon fiber. The headlights were dimmed and the original wheels gave way to a 21-inch Vossen, fitted with 245/30 ZR21 tires at the front and 325/35 ZR21 at the rear.

Let's do it: with the “base” kit (750hp and 830Nm) it sprints from 0-100km/h in 3 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 330km/h. We still haven't received any information about the result of applying the other two power levels, but they will certainly be impressive.
