Ferrari Land. The most «petrolhead» amusement park in Europe has already opened

Anonim

After the opening of Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, in 2010, the Italian brand's second amusement park opened to the public this Friday, the first in Europe.

Located in PortAventura, in Salou, the Ferrari Land is the result of an investment of 100 million euros. With an area of more than 70 thousand square meters, it is in Ferrari Land that we find Red Force, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe, at 112 meters high.

The occupants of this «Formula 1» will be able to go from 0 to 180 km/h in just 5 seconds:

NOT TO BE MISSED: Sérgio Marchionne. California is not a real Ferrari

But Red Force isn't the only interest in this amusement park. In addition to the various shops and restaurants, the theme park also has eight Formula 1 simulators (six for adults and two for children), a space dedicated to the brand's history, reproductions of historic buildings such as the Ferrari headquarters in Maranello or the façade from Piazza San Marco in Venice, and even a vertical tower capable of “shooting” passengers up to 55 meters high. And of course… a circuit with about 580 meters.

How much does it cost?

A day ticket to Ferrari Land costs 60 euros for adults (11 to 59 years old) or 52 euros for children or seniors (4 to 10 years old, or over 60 years old), and allows access not only to the Ferrari theme park but also to PortAventura Park. Tickets can be purchased on the official website of PortAventura.
