Atmospheric 3.8 flat-six engine in central position (from the 911 Carrera S), manual transmission, brakes and suspensions borrowed from the 911 GT3. It is even said that Porsche provided this Cayman GT4 with “only” 385hp of power to avoid direct conflicts with the Porsche 911 GT3. But as in the world of tuning cars, there is no respect for family hierarchies, Fabspeed Motorsport took the GT4 and did what Porsche didn't have the courage to do: it passed the 400hp barrier and went to “hunt” the GT3.
