It's been eight months since the first prototype was unveiled, but the Fisker EMotion is getting closer and closer to becoming a reality. Fisker Inc, the company of renowned Danish designer Henrik Fisker, has just revealed some more images of its first production model, 100% electric.

Naturally, the images show us a model that is much more production ready than the version we got to know in October. According to the brand, the entire structure will be made of aluminum and carbon fiber – Fisker speaks of a design “that favors safety, comfort and convenience more than ever, and a luxurious and spacious cabin”.

Aerodynamics was the top priority in the body design.

160 km autonomy with 9 minutes of charging

In addition to these images, Fisker also revealed some technical details of the new model, such as the autonomy.

According to the brand, the Fisker EMotion will be able to travel 640 km in just one load, and will have a top speed of 260 km/h. And if this value alone is impressive, what about the charging. Thanks to a technology called “UltraCharger”, it will be possible to obtain 160 km of autonomy in just 9 minutes of charging . Too good to be true?

The official presentation of Fisker EMotion is scheduled for the next 17th of August and orders start on the 30th of this month. However, the electric sports car will only reach the market in 2019. It will be sold exclusively through the website of Fisker Inc. and The Hybrid Shop (THS), its partners.

As for the price, Fisker announces an entry value of 129 thousand dollars , about 116 thousand euros.
