Lexus has confirmed that it will present its new SUV, the LF-NX Turbo, at the next Tokyo Motor Show. A Range Rover Evoque rival from the "land of the rising sun".
The Lexus LF-NX Turbo will shortly present itself as Lexus' latest bet in the field of SUV’s, based on the prototypes presented by the brand at the latest edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show. At the time, this prototype – with somewhat “controversial” lines in the eyes of many, was presented to the public with a 2.5 block gasoline engine delivering around 155 hp. This engine was accompanied by a small electric motor.
According to Lexus, this new version of the LF-NX that will be presented in Tokyo will come with a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with a power still to be revealed, but which should exceed 200 hp of total power.
Inside the LF-NX Turbo, the highly technological environment stood out, having as its main reference the center console with integrated touchpad. In the production phase, this model should receive the designation NX 200t.
