This is the new Kia K900, the model with which the Korean brand intends to make its ultimate statement in the automotive industry.
The Kia K900 is the new luxury car from the Korean brand, a bet that aims to redefine the brand's reach. With a robust design and an elegant posture – as is the tradition in the segment – the Kia K900 aims to be more than just an image. Proof of this is its 10-year warranty.
Focused on the North American market, the Kia K900 will be available in two powertrains, a 3.8 liter V6 engine with 311 horsepower and a 5 liter 32-valve V8 engine capable of producing 420 horsepower. These two GDI engines will have CVVT technology (variable intake technology to improve response in low and medium revs), and also come equipped with a system that lets you turn off part of the cylinders to improve consumption.
A car that arrives on the market to show that luxury, quality and innovation are not exclusive values exclusive to the main German brands.
As standard, the Kia K900 will feature dignified first-class accommodation. The Korean brand's flagship is equipped with the most advanced technologies the brand has to offer. As for finishes, these are top notch, as is usual in this segment. The top of the range, V8, will come equipped with the VIP package where the reclining rear seats do the honors of the house, as well as a vast technological package with various multimedia and security systems. As is already the norm in new models, LED technology will not be forgotten, being standard on the high-end version.
The luxurious K900 V6 and V8 are expected later in the first quarter of 2014 and prices will be announced closer to launch. The commercialization of this new model in Europe is not expected, at least for now.
