With the expected presentation at the Detroit International Motor Show, KIA launches a decisive card in terms of attracting a younger audience to its proposals, with the KIA GT4 Stinger prototype.
Although information about the KIA GT4 Stinger is still scarce, here at Razão Automóvel we are already in a position to reveal a little more about this prototype, which according to the brand, promises to start a new style trend, to capture a younger audience.
The KIA GT4 Stinger defines itself as a coupe with a 2+2 configuration. Its design is radical and something totally different from the design catalog that KIA has gotten us used to in recent times, and with the presentation color code-named “Ignition Yellow”, it promises.
Its muscular look with pronounced sides and a longer front clearly show its sporty character. Complemented with integral LED lighting both at the front and at the rear, the front optics shake all concepts and appear vertically at the ends of the large grille, while at the rear, their “Fastback GT” format creates the fusion with the lid of the trunk with a smoked glazed surface, ending in the darkened lower section and that integrates the set of optics in a “C” shape.
On the KIA GT4 Stinger, the small slit-type air intakes that we see in the front section next to the optics and the rear sides after the doors are functional and are designed to cool the massive brakes, made up of perforated discs, bit by 4-piston jaws , which we know comes equipped with Brembo's Gran Turismo Kit. The 20-inch wheels, mounted on Pirelli P-Zero tires measuring 275/35ZR20, surprise with their 5-arm helix design and central pin system for tightening, in competition style.

The suspension of the KIA GT4 Stinger is double-arm on both axles, suggesting that the KIA is seriously committed to making the GT4 Stinger, a possible rival to the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ, possibly even casting some shadow on the Audi TT.
