After the manhunt, sorry, the car hunt, the new Kia was caught without any camouflage on a highway in South Korea. Although the video is low resolution, you can clearly see its aggressive and arrogant styling. This saloon was designed by Kia's new chief design director Peter Schreyer, who has already made it known in an interview that the new Kia K9 was inspired by the Maserati Quattroporte.

For the front are reserved extremely attractive headlights and a chrome grille (very identical to the Quattroporte), in the bumper there is an air intake that has the famous LED headlights at the ends. At the rear, there doesn't seem to be any difference between the Korean saloon and the German, BMW 7 Series. Incidentally, this sedan is inspired by the Maserati but generally speaking, we would say that it was entirely inspired by the BMW luxury saloon.

The mechanical specifications are not yet known, but it is quite likely that this model shares the platform and mechanics of the Hyundai Genesis, if so, the Kia K9 should come equipped with three different engines, a 3.8 liter V6 with 333 hp, a 4.6 liter V8 with 385 hp and a 5.0 liter V8 with 429 hp.

Stay with the video that is running all over the internet:

After all this, Kia has just revealed the first three official photos of its new luxury model, which will be launched during the first half of this year in the domestic market.
