With the rumors that a new Mustang will be in the pipeline within the next year, Chevrolet has not been left behind and anticipates with an operation of aesthetic renovation in its most famous model among the true «Muscle Cars». RA presents you the new Chevrolet Camaro with a clean face.
Scheduled for sale at the end of 2013, Chevrolet decided to give the Camaro some aesthetic touches, also foreseeing what will be the most awaited version of the Chevrolet Camaro Z28, but for now it is the Chevrolet Camaro SS that still bears the title of most powerful in the range.
Although it doesn't seem like the Chevrolet Camaro, it already has 1 year of commercial career, that's why the American brand saw fit to make some aerodynamic adjustments and fill in some equipment failures. But let's start with the aesthetic plan. The Camaro gets a completely redesigned grill , with slightly wider and lower optics that end up with the edges hidden by the hood and bumpers.
The rear Aileron of the Chevrolet Camaro, was also revised and now has a smaller angle of inclination but with greater surface, improving the resistance and aerodynamic support. One of the big visible changes – and which are an integral part of the Camaro's identity – are the bonnet and its central diffuser, which have undergone profound changes. The central diffuser disappears as well as the “bossa” in the bonnet, which in turn gives rise to a 3-blade ventilation grille which, according to Chevrolet, improves engine cooling and stability at high speed.
When it comes to the «pure muscle» of the Chevrolet Camaro, the offer remains totally the same. Just with a new gadget, in automatic transmission versions, it will now be possible to wake up the Camaro's V8 via a key switch.
The equipment received the introduction of a new system «heads up display» which is now in color, unlike the previous one, only in blue. Connectivity between devices is reinforced with the new MyLink device in the center console, using a 7-inch touchscreen on which it is possible, in addition to the use of GPS, to manage a schedule, view images, play videos and audio via mobile phone through connection by USB. Prices remain unchanged starting at €97,000 for the coupé and €102,000 for the convertible.
