The Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series received an upgrade from GAD-Motors. Be careful, because now your dark side is sharper.
GAD-Motors does not play around in service. It set out to improve the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series and did it with style… very stylish! While the original version of the C63 mounts the well-known 6.3 liter atmospheric V8 M156 engine, GAD-Motors proposes replacing this unit with a more evolved version. We are talking about the M157 bi-turbo engine, an engine that breathes beyond 7000rpm and achieves a maximum power of 850hp. And don't think that the value of the binary is forgotten by your scribe, because it isn't: 1350Nm. Yes that's right, 1350Nm. With less torque you can put a rocket into orbit or change the course of history.
All this power is transmitted to all four wheels via a deeply altered 4Matic transmission to handle these doses of power, while the gearbox is a reinforced MCT to handle loads up to 1500Nm.
The practical result? This Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series manages to hit the very super-sporty foot. It fulfills the traditional 0-100km/h in just 3.1 seconds, the 0-200km/h in 8.8 seconds and the 0-300km/h in 23.5 seconds. Now this is breath.
To deal with this acceleration capability obviously the work on the braking and suspension components also had to be taken seriously. For suspensions, we find units from the well-known KW brand, while for braking, it was done for less: ceramic discs on both axles.
Price? This is the least enjoyable part. This GAD-Motors kit costs €180,250, which they still have to add to the Mercedes purchase. Then…
