Porsche offers €8,600 bonus to employees

2014 was a successful sales year for Porsche, with 190,000 units sold worldwide, representing a 17% increase over 2013.

Porsche announced that it will offer a bonus of €8,600 to its employees, due to the good results of 2014. The Stuttgart brand ended the year with a turnover of 17.2 billion euros, and saw its operating result increase 5% to 2.7 billion euros. The launch of the Porsche Macan in 2014 contributed 18% to the increase in sales.

14,600 employees will receive a bonus of €8,600, of which €700 will be transferred to Porsche VarioRente, the brand's pension fund. The bonus calculation will take into account some variables such as working time and whether the employee joined the company during the year.

In Portugal, Porsche also closed the fiscal year 2014 on a high, having increased sales by 45% compared to the previous year. The German brand sold 395 cars in Portugal in 2014.
