After having known a difficult first half in 2020, in 2021 Aston Martin saw its “luck” change, registering a sales growth of 224% compared to the same period last year.

In total, the British brand sold 2901 units in the first six months of the year and saw its revenues grow from 57 million pounds (close to 67 million euros) registered in the same period of 2020 to around 274 million pounds (about 322 million million and euros) achieved in 2021, a growth of 242%!

The "culprit" of these numbers

As you would expect, the main responsible for the “good form” presented by Aston Martin is its first SUV, the DBX. According to the British brand, more than 1500 Aston Martin DBX units were sold in the first six months of the year, making it the best-selling brand, accounting for more than half of sales.

When asked about this clear improvement, Lawrence Stroll, chairman of Aston Martin, said: “The demand we see for our models, the models that are coming and the quality of our team makes me very confident that this success can continue ( …) building on the success of the DBX, our first SUV, we already have two new models on the way”.
