Presented to the public at the Paris Salon, the Skoda Kodiaq RS now arrives on the Portuguese market with the fastest seven-seat SUV record on the Nürburgring as a visiting card.
The sportiest of Skoda's SUVs only took 9min 29.84s to tour the circuit with pilot Sabine Schmitz at the controls.
Equipped with the most powerful diesel engine in Skoda's history, the new Kodiaq RS is the first SUV of the Czech brand to receive the acronym that is synonymous with more performance.

Thus, we find 20″ Xtreme wheels, several details in black (on the grille, on the window frames and on the mirrors) and at the rear, the two tailpipes and a reflector that extends the entire width of the car stand out.

Inside the Skoda Kodiaq RS
Inside the Skoda Kodiaq RS, differences continue to make themselves felt. In the Kodiaq RS cabin the the biggest highlight goes to the Virtual Cockpit with carbon fiber finishes that are standard equipment. The Czech SUV also has sports seats with an integrated headrest upholstered in Alcantara and leather.
The Skoda Kodiaq RS is also equipped with a sports steering wheel, stainless steel pedal covers and the instrument panel has a carbon fiber look. The Kodiaq RS is also the first Skoda model to offer the Dynamic Sound Boost system which uses the car's electronic data and varies and intensifies the engine's sound depending on the selected driving mode.
The Skoda Kodiaq RS can, like the other Kodiaq, have seven seats, with the luggage compartment capacity varying between 230 l with seven seats mounted and 715 l if it has only five seats.
The Skoda Kodiaq comes equipped as standard with the Virtual Cockpit.
The numbers of the Skoda Kodiaq RS
Bringing life to Skoda's first SUV bearing the RS code is a 2.0 TDI twin-turbo four-cylinder engine that delivers 240 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Thanks to these numbers this is the most powerful diesel engine ever installed in a Skoda.
In terms of performance, the Skoda Kodiaq RS runs from 0 to 100 km/h in 7s and reaches a maximum speed of 220 km/h. It is also equipped with all-wheel drive, seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, dynamic chassis control (Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC)) and progressive steering.
As for the price, the Skoda Kodiaq RS will be offered on the national market from 67 457 euros.
