It's not just the Koenigsegg Jesko that has extraordinarily expensive optional equipment. The Australian Super Sports Brabham BT62 also.
After last week we revealed the price of the most expensive of Jesko's optional paints, today we bring you the price of the most expensive sound system the BT62 can be equipped with.
the sound system
Developed by the Australian company Kyron Audio, the most expensive of the three audio systems that the Brabham BT62 can be equipped with is called “Phoenix” and has 8×700 W amplifiers and 2×1500 W subwoofers.
With each component, designed by Kyron Audio itself, being hand-assembled, the most expensive sound system on the BT62 amounts to 349 thousand Australian dollars, about 211 597 euros — practically the cost of a “base” Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster in Portugal…
According to Kyron Audio, the sound emitted by this system is only matched “having the artist playing at home”.
The Brabham BT62
In total, the BT62 is available in three versions: a competition that costs 750 thousand pounds (about 868,000 euros) — the most accessible, interestingly enough —; another track, the Ultimate Track Car, which is available for a million pounds (1.157 million euros) and finally the road version, whose price rises to 1.15 million pounds (about 1.331 million euros).
