Despite the long and distinguished lineage of coupés in its century-old history, what is certain is that since the year 2000, the year that the Fiat Coupe ceased to be produced, that there is no coupé in the Italian brand's catalogue.
And there probably won't be any in the future either. However, there are those who still remember the last Fiat coupé, and also those who imagine what a new Fiat Coupé could be like.
But what would this new coupé look like? The design of the Coupé launched in 1993 was defined, in large part, by Chris Bangle — who would go to BMW as head of design in 1992 — and even today it remains as radical, current and (also) less consensual as the day it was. released.
If it were released today (and no major changes to the original design would be necessary), it would certainly mark the same way as it did in 1993, as it does not "fit" into fashions or styles — it "lives" in a world apart, all its own.

Gaspare Conticelli, a professional designer, here recognizes the last of the coupés at Fiat, redesigning the emblematic model, appropriately named, Fiat Coupé Tribute . Keeping the main volumes and stylistic features of the original Coupé, we see several updated elements, as the various types of optics are now in LED.
Its Coupé Tribute appears to be more “muscled”, evidenced by its large wheels and wider shoulders. The design is also more aggressive, a consequence of more prominent aerodynamic elements such as an expressive front spoiler and double rear diffuser.
All that was missing was one proposal for the interior of this tribute — the interior of the Fiat Coupé, like the exterior, was quite original. Designed by Pininfarina, it was defined by a horizontal band, identical in color to the bodywork, across the entire width of the dashboard, which extended through the doors.
