The Nissan Concept Vision 2020 Gran Turismo came out of Playstation and took shape in the real world. This concept will dictate the main lines of the GT-R's successor. It is one of the featured presences at the Tokyo Hall.

The Nissan Concept Vision 2020 Gran Turismo digital prototype, developed in partnership with Polyphony Digital, was first unveiled in June 2014 on Sony's console. Now, moving from virtual reality to the real world, it will be one of the main focuses of interest at the Tokyo Hall.

This concept is seen by the brand as a preview of the next generation of the GT-R. A model that should once again rely on the current generation's V6 3.8 liter twinturbo engine, but this time supported by an electromechanical inertia steering wheel, which conserves the kinetic energy of braking and then transforms it into electrical energy. This energy will be used to power two front-mounted electric motors.
