The host of The Grand Tour chose the Lamborghini Huracán Performante as car of the year 2018 . The award was given to Maurizio Reggiani, who is a member of the management of the Italian brand, at an event in London.
The famous presenter said that the Huracán Performante was the only car that the made you feel “a certain shiver on the back of your neck that made him think “this car is good””. Jeremy Clarkson also said that what led him to choose this car was not the performance or the design but the way the Lamborghini made it feel.

Unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show the Huracán Performante Coupe received a Spyder version a year later. The engine used by the Lamborghini is a 5.2 l V10, naturally aspirated, producing 640 hp and 600 Nm of binary. All of this allows Huracán Performante to meet the 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9s and reach the 325 km/h of maximum speed.
