After capturing attention at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the concept Mission and Cross Tourism to move into production . THE Porsche announced that its second electric model will be produced at the Zuffenhausen factory ,in Germany.
If it maintains the similarities with the concept, the Cross Tourism , as Porsche calls it, will have four doors and will look closer to the crossover concept. The new model will derive from the Taycan and, like this one, will be equipped with an 800V battery and will have 600 hp of power.
The Cross Tourism it will charge in both normal and fast charging outlets. The brand predicts that the new model will have a autonomy of about 500 km.
But first comes Taycan…
Meanwhile, the brand is finalizing the tests of the Taykan , which is scheduled to arrive in 2019. Although they have not yet been released prices , speaking to Automotive News Europe, one of the directors of the brand, Robert Meier, said “we are waiting for a price somewhere between the Cayenne and the Panamera”, implying that the Taycan will not be placed as the top of the range of the Stuttgart brand.

Porsche's new electric promises a autonomy around 500 km and the brand predicts that it is possible charge up to 80% of batteries in just 15 minutes using specific charging stations. The new Taycan is expected to hit the market with about 600 hp and will be able to fulfill the 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5s.
