The Koenigsegg Regera set a record for the… Koenigsegg Agera RS

No, Koenigsegg still hasn't managed to match Bugatti and see one of its models surpassing 300 mph (483 km/h), however that doesn't mean the Swedish brand has no reason to celebrate as evidenced by the latest record achieved by the Rules.

The record in question already belonged to Koenigsegg and refers to the stratospheric measurement of 0-400-0 km/h, the previous one, achieved by an Agera RS in Nevada, had been fixed at 33.29s and was reached in 2017 .

However, to show that the Regera is up to the brand's scrolls, Koenigsegg decided to try to beat its record. To do this, he handed it over to his test driver, Sonny Persson, and took it to the aerodrome at Råda, Sweden.

The result (which you can see in the video that accompanies this article) was another record for the Swedish brand, with Regera managing to take around 2 seconds off the time achieved by Agera RS in the previous record.

In total, the Regera, equipped with a twin-turbo V8, three electric motors and 1500 hp of power, completed 0-400-0 km/h in just 31.49s and we don't even want to imagine the G forces that the Koenigsegg test pilot was in. subject when braking.

Dissecting the record, Koenigsegg indicates that the Regera took 22.87s to go from 0 to 400 km/h, whereas to go from 400 km/h to a total stop it only took 8.62s. With another record in his pocket, all that remains is to ask Koenigsegg when he will join the 300 mph group (about 483 km/h).
