Determined to face the popularity of the new Tesla Roadster, which, at least for now, is just a “plan of intentions”, the Croatian manufacturer Rimac is already preparing a new electric super sports car. Which, although for now known only by the code name Rimac Concept Two, will have the mission of not only replacing the current model of the manufacturer from the Balkans, as everything points to be one of the main rivals of Tesla's supersports future!
According to the latest information, released by Auto Guide, the future Rimac will have a new electric propulsion system, which is supposed to be an evolution of the current one used in Concept One. will evolve.
Even so, the future model of the Croatian brand will have to achieve a power and torque higher than the 1244 hp and 1599 Nm announced by the electric super sports car that Rimac already sells. And that allow the Concept One to reach a top speed of 354 km/h, with accelerations from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The 92 kWh batteries also guarantee autonomy in the order of 322 kilometers.
Rimac Concept Two will be (also) more comfortable and luxurious
Meanwhile, Rimac's chief operating officer, Monika Mikac, assured that the future model will also be more comfortable and luxurious than the current one.
The new Rimac should be made known during the next year, when prices should also be known.
