Lotus Evora Sport 410: less weight, more performance

The Lotus Evora Sport 410 combines generous weight loss with performance gain. With 410hp, it's ready to rock at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Hethel brand finally unveiled the Lotus Evora Sport 410 which, as the name suggests, delivers 410hp (10hp more than its predecessor) and 410Nm of maximum torque available at 3,500 rpm. In addition to gaining more power, the sports car managed to reduce its weight (less 70kg), due to the abundant use of carbon fiber in various components such as the rear diffuser, front splitter, luggage compartment and some details of the cabin.

Under the hood, we find an energetic 3.5-liter V6 block that takes you across the 0-100km/h goal in just 4.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 300km/h – if coupled with a manual gearbox. With automatic gearbox, the sprint will be won in 4.1 seconds, but the top speed suffers a decrease to 280km/h.

In order to improve the performance of the Lotus Evora Sport 410, the brand's engineers recalibrated the suspensions, the shock absorbers and reduced the ground clearance by 5mm.

Inside, we find sports seats made of carbon fiber and covered in Alcantara, as well as the steering wheel and the other interior panels.

Lotus announced that the global production of the Lotus Evora Sport 410 will not exceed 150 units.
