Ferrari F430 with manual gearbox and atmospheric V8. Any petrolhead's dream?

Anonim

Far from being a classic (it was revealed in 2004), the Ferrari F430 it is, even so, a symbol of the recent past of the automobile industry, especially the example we are talking about today.

Announced on the Bring A Trailer website, this F430 comes with a manual gearbox and an atmospheric V8 — the most desired combination today, but not the most successful one when it was on the market. The F430 was, in fact, one of the last models of the Maranello brand to have a manual gearbox.

It's in considerable contrast, for example, to today's F8 Tributo which, while staying true to the V8, has two turbos and is equipped with a dual-clutch automatic.

Remembering, the Ferrari F430 used a 4.3 l atmospheric V8 that produced 490 hp at 8500 rpm and 465 Nm at 5250 rpm, figures that allowed the Italian model to reach a maximum speed of 315 km/h and reach 100 km/h in just 4s.

On sale after being… sold

Interestingly, this is the second time this Ferrari F430 goes on sale in 2021, having been sold in January for 241,000 dollars (about 203,000 euros). However, the buyer changed his mind, ended up not keeping the car and so here it is again.

With just 32 000 km, this F430 also has the original tool kit, maintenance certificates, the “Vehicle Identification Passport” among several other documents that attest to its good condition.

With the closing of the bids scheduled for six days from now, the highest bid is set, at the date of publication of this article, at 154,300 dollars (approximately 130 thousand euros). A lower value than what this F430 was ever sold at. We believe the value will rise substantially as we approach the bidding deadline.

Being rarer, the F430 equipped with a manual gearbox value more than the F430 with an F1 semi-automatic gearbox, with the difference easily surpassing the 10,000 euros between the two.
