In four races, four wins and three one-twos. Life goes well for the Mercedes Formula 1 team.
Unsurprisingly, Mercedes single-seaters have regained their supremacy in the Chinese Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton came back to win, and already has 3 consecutive victories this season.
In second place another Mercedes, that of Nico Rosberg. The German driver had to race to "run for loss" after a bad start. From overtaking to overtaking he managed to reach second place, but with 1st place already a long way off.
The surprise came from Ferrari's side, with Fernando Alonso making a noteworthy race, in a masterful display of tenacity, strategy and capacity for suffering, managing to resist Daniel Ricciardo's attacks until the end. It remains to be seen whether this was an isolated result of Ferrari, or a result sustained by a new technical “breath” by the Italian brand.
Sebastian Vettel was once again beaten by his teammate, crossing the line in fifth place, 24 seconds behind. Also in the top 10, two Force India highlighted with Toro Rosso closing this group. Bad race for the Mclarens (11th and 13th place) one lap from the winner.
