The second generation Toyota Aygo has been on the market since 2014 and has played a key role in the A-segment of small utility vehicles.

The model has even been one of the brand's ambassadors, and responsible for attracting new customers. In 2017 the Toyota Aygo was one of the best-selling models in the segment, with more than 85 thousand units sold.

Now, the brand is preparing the presentation of the new generation for the Geneva Motor Show. Keeping the model's unique DNA, those responsible reinforced the young and distinguished image but also improved performance and driving, ensuring greater driving pleasure.

Young style

Keeping a front grille with the signature “X”, it now takes on a new dimension, with new optics and LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the new LED optics give it a more sophisticated and unmistakable look.

The new exterior look is complemented by two new colors — Magenta and Blue — and new 15″ alloy wheel designs. Inside there are new graphics and three-dimensional instrumentation with new lighting.

better and safer

In terms of equipment there are three versions — X, X-play, and X-clusiv — in addition to two special editions — X-cite and X-trend , each with specific details, to the taste of each customer.

The reduction of vibrations and noise in the interior also promises not to be forgotten, for greater comfort for the occupants.

The three-cylinder engine with 998 c.c. and VVT-i technology was revised, having improved in terms of power and consumption. Now with 71 hp at 6000 rpm, the Toyota Aygo accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 13.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 160 km/h. The advertised consumption was reduced to 3.9 l/100 km (NEDC) and CO2 emissions also dropped to 90 g/km.
