R Pikes Peak . And of which he has just revealed not only the color, but also the chosen number.
According to the Wolfsburg manufacturer, the race car for Pikes Peak will be completely grayed out, and with the number 94 . Both choices have a good reason to support them!
According to the explanations given by Volkswagen, the choice of gray results from the fact that this is the official color of Volkswagen's electric subbrand, ID, whereas the number 94 is based, solely and only on the position that the letters I and D occupy in the alphabet — the I is the ninth letter, while the D is the fourth.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen's 100% electric prototype is ready to go, with its 680 hp and 650 Nm , attacking Pikes Peak, with defending champion Romain Dumas at the wheel.
Dumas has already set record times in the race held in Colorado Springs on three separate occasions (2014, 2016 and 2017).
