Fiat Panda 4x4 by Gianni "L'Avvocato" Agnelli restored by Garage Italia Customs

To get around the resort in San Moritz, Switzerland, Gianni Agnelli, the undisputed historical leader of Fiat, used the modest but efficient Fiat Panda 4×4 — but to get to Switzerland from Italy, he used his helicopter…

Who was Gianni Agnelli? It hardly needs any introduction. Descended from the founders of Fiat, he led and grew the company until it became the largest industrial group in Italy. L’ Avvocato, as he was known, was also so for his keen sense of style in the clothes he wore, leaning slightly toward the eccentric, but always impeccable, elegant, and influential.

Lapo Elkann, founder of Garage Italia Customs, is Gianni's grandson and, like his grandfather, he also has a very unique sense of style and fashion, but with a very accentuated eccentric side. A characteristic that shines through in all aspects of your life, even in the automobile creations that come out of your company.

It's inside that we see the biggest differences, but always with an excellent sense of taste. Lapo Elkann turned to Vitale Barberis Canonico, one of his grandfather's favorite textile producers, to coat much of the car's interior — seats, part of the dashboard and door panels. A dark blue fabric was used and the seats, on the side, have a leather upholstery with the Garagem Italia Customs logo applied in thermogravure.

The Fiat Panda 4×4 Trekking appeared in the 90s, and came equipped with the famous 1.1 Fire, with only 54 willful horses. The all-wheel drive system was from Steyr Puch — the logo still remains on the rear of this Panda — and when combined with the low weight it made the 4×4 Panda an unexpected off-road touring hero.
