Following a path already taken by other manufacturers, Lamborghini decided to put one foot back on both wheels, after the Design 90 project, although, this time, not with an engine.
The result of a partnership with the French Cervélo Cycles, the Italian brand developed a triathlon bike , made known at the last edition of the Geneva Motor Show, receiving the name Cervélo P5X Lamborghini Edition.
twenty five is the magic number
With a production limited to no more than 25 units, that is, even less than many of Sant’Agata Bolognese's supersports, the Cervélo P5X Lamborghini Edition was designed by the Style Center at Lamborghini. Whose designers chose not only the yellow color, but also the Y pattern on the frame — a graphic motif present in the brand's supercars — which makes the bike clearly stand out as much as any supercar from the Italian brand.

One hundred and eighty hours in the wind tunnel
Lamborghini recalls that its design had more than 180 hours in the wind tunnel.
“This limited-production racing machine brings together two brands passionate about world-class products and performance,” commented Robert de Jonje, CEO of Cérvelo Cycles, in a statement. Adding that "our triathletes lead development when it comes to competition, and with this new product, they will be able to stand out in the pack, in an even more empathetic way."
