Audi Q4 e-tron. Spy photos show electric SUV inside and out

After the larger Q6 e-tron, it was time for the new Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback if they let themselves be caught in a set of spy photos that anticipate — in a national exclusive by Razão Automóvel — the shapes of the new electric SUV of the German brand.

On the outside, the abundant camouflage makes it difficult to discern the shapes of what will be, at least for now, the smallest of Audi's electric models.

Even so, it is possible to confirm the “family air” with the two proposals having proportions that we easily associate, for example with the Q3 and Q3 Sportback. The images taken from the interior confirm what we had already expected, with the two models following the style adopted by the latest Audi proposals.

The Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback doesn't hide the "SUV-Coupé" shapes.

Thus, in addition to having two large screens (one for infotainment and the other for the instrument panel) and a straight design, these should, as far as we can see, remain faithful to the physical controls.

What do we already know?

Already unveiled as prototypes, the new Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback will be based on the dedicated MEB electric platform, the same one used, for example, by the cousins Volkswagen ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq iV.

Although the power values of the Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback have not yet been released, the truth is that both prototypes presented themselves with 306 hp, and it is very likely that one of the future versions will come with a power level identical.

The interior of the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback does not hide the "family air".

The 306 hp resulted from the sum of the powers of two electric motors, one per axle (the one located at the front, with 102 hp and 150 Nm; the one located at the back, with 204 hp and 310 Nm). As for the battery used in the prototypes, it had a capacity of 82 kWh, allowing a range (WLTP) of 450 km.

It remains only to confirm how close these numbers will be to the production model.
