There are four Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 available, distributed over two bodies — five doors and… five “coupé” doors — and two power levels taken from the same block “hot V” 4.0 V8 twin turbo — 571 hp and 750 Nm for the “regular” GLE 63, and 612 hp and 850 Nm for the GLE 63 S.
Given the “firepower” by hand, or better, by foot — 4.0s and 3.8s at 0-100 km/h, respectively GLE 63 and GLE 63 S — both Mercedes-AMG GLE use the traction system integral 4MATIC+ and feature a nine-speed Speedshift TCT 9G automatic transmission.
Contributing to lower consumption and emissions, the V8 twin turbo features a cylinder deactivation system — accessible in “Comfort” mode between 1000-3250 rpm — and works with only four cylinders.
Two turbos, 8 cylinders in "V", 4.0 l capacity
Another highlight is the presence of the 48 V mild-hybrid system which, in addition to contributing to a reduction in consumption/emissions, if necessary in more critical moments, offers an additional 22 hp and 250 Nm of torque.

As a generously sized SUV, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 also come equipped with a high technological arsenal in ground connections: active stabilizer bars, AMG RIDE CONTROL + air suspension (adjustable with three modes), electronic self-locking rear differential and also feature the AMG Dynamic Select (up to seven driving modes) and AMG Dynamics (four functions, activated according to the driving modes) systems.
