Born in the Netherlands, in 2010, Vencer is a manufacturer that invests in the manufacture of exceptional vehicles. The most recent example is Vencer Sarthe, the culmination of a maturation process, inspired directly by Le Mans.
There is good reason why Vencer chose the name Sarthe for its new model. A name from the “La Sarthe” circuit, where one of the most mythical car competitions ever takes shape: the 24H of Le Mans. An endurance test that fills the imagination of any petrolhead.
But it was not only on the circuit of La Sarthe – for us, almost a heritage of humanity – that Vencer Sarthe sought inspiration. In fact, Vencer Sarthe intends to be the modern interpretation of the competition cars that were heard in the 80s in endurance competitions. Basically, Vencer Sarthe wants to bring to the present the driving sensations that have been diluted with time. Ambitious at the very least, don't you think?
Like the most exclusive creations, Vencer produces the Sarthe promising that each unit will never be like the other, as Vencer's personalization department bets on differentiation: raw power, analogue sensations behind the wheel, dream dynamics and a minimalist interior , without dispensing with the amenities we are already used to.
According to the brand, Sarthe is a super sports car for those who appreciate purity, rarity and mechanical feeling in a super sports car.
That said, let's get to the mechanical facts about the Vencer Sarthe, with a hybrid chassis between the aluminum space frame structure and the honeycomb carbon fiber cell, the entire bodywork is made of the latest Refracted Thermoplastic Carbon (CFRP).
With a mid-range rear engine configuration, the hosts start right away with the superb 6.3l V8 block supercharged by a volumetric compressor, capable of developing 622 horsepower at 6500rpm and a respectable torque of 838Nm at 4000rpm. It should be noted that at a "mere" 1500rpm we already have 650Nm of brute force to come and go.
To convey all this mechanical fury, the Vencer Sarthe lives up to its scrolls of analogue sensations with a 6-speed manual gearbox, shielded by a Torsen-type self-locking differential.
The dynamic aspect has not been forgotten and the Vencer Sarthe opts for the balance of symmetrical and asymmetrical tunings of its components, with a double-arm suspension on all wheels and 355mm brake discs, equally on all wheels, but with 8-inch calipers. pistons on the front axle and 4 pistons on the rear axle.
